Helping Hands Clinic
Our MissionMay we have eyes to see those rendered invisible and excluded, open arms and ears to reach out and include them, healing hands to touch their lives with love, and in the process may we all enjoy a healthier community.
HistorySince October 2003, the Helping Hands Clinic has been the primary care provider for the uninsured residents and employees of Hamblen County with a household income of less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Currently we provide primary care to over 2500 patients at no charge to the patient. We employ one nurse practitioner but apart from that all the providers at the clinic are volunteers and receive no compensation for their work.
